Prime is an organization with a rich history. Originally formed in 2005 by founder Jayzorac in the MMO Lineage as a spin-off to an even older organization known as "Sacred Souls", Prime has served as a home for a close group of friends and family for eight years and counting. While our organization ebbs and flows, we always manage to reunite, each time adding to our ranks more valued friends and growing in strength and character. In World of Warcraft, our guild originated on the Onyxia server before transferring to the Boulderfist server where it now resides.
The purpose of Prime is to serve as a fun and productive home to any willing members. Our values are reflected in these goals which we hold:
While one of our goals is to foster a relaxed atmosphere, there are a few specific expectations, and all members are expected to adhere to the following rules.
Governance of the guild is intended to be simple and efficient. The guild shall consist of the following positions.
The Guild Master is the executive and leader of the guild. The Guild Master exercises absolute veto on any action, dispute, or other issue facing the guild, unless otherwise herein prohibited. The guild leader shall permanently be Jayzorac. Or in the absence of Jayzorac, an interim Guild Master may be selected by the Council from among the Council until such time as Jayzorac returns.
The Council is comprised of the officers of the guild. The Council is tasked with the responsibilities of managing the guild at its and the Guild Master's discretion. The Council shall hear disputes and determine resolutions as necessary.
Officers shall be appointed by the Guild Master. Officers shall be responsible for day to day guild operation and organizing raid activities as deemed by the Guild Master or Council. Special chief officers of recruitment, operations, information and others shall from time-to-time be appointed.
The recruitment policy of the guild is as follows.
To qualify for guild membership you must:
Applicants shall post their application at which time it shall undergo review by the Council. An applicant is approved upon approval of fifty-percent plus one officer.
To maintain membership members must maintain a good standing. For the most part, this constitutes attending at least one raid per month. Failing this, a member may be placed on lapsed status and may be subject to removal.
All loot shall be distributed via a Loot Master on a need-before-greed basis.
This charter may be amended by action of the Guild Master or by vote of majority of the Council.
